Call of Duty 6 coming in 2009
On August - 4 - 2008
Call of Duty: World at War isn’t out yet, but Activision is already making plans for the sequel on the fifth CoD game. The sixth part in the Call of Duty gameseries will be developed by Infinity Ward. It’s not sure if they will use the Call of Duty 4 engine for their new Call of Duty game. The setting of Call of Duty 6 hasn’t been announced yet either.

needs to be another COD 4 just with real modern weapons like a heat seeker instead of RPG thats so old school - run a few modern warfares with larger maps before going back to whatever

I wish that they (game makers) would capitalize on this good thing that they have in COD4. I’m not buying World at War because it’s not realistic. I think that if they want to do WW2 right machine guns aren’t easy to come by, because not everyone had a machine gun in WW2, and they overheated very easily. Realistically everyone had a bolt action rifle and a hand gun. Therefore WW2 sucks. Modern warfare is very glamorous. There are lots of shiny new weapons to use and scopes, and it is against piers with equally devastating weapons. Plus it is bright. Fought in a desert environment where I can see stuff. It’s not dark. Darkness means that developers aren’t creative enough to make a believable environment. Make it dark. Nobody can tell the difference. Wow. I played the beta. the tank was cool, but not fair. The dogs were too many and way too powerful, and it was chock full of nowhere to hide. If Activision wants to make money hand over fist they will pray that infinity ward releases more maps for COD4 and releases another modern warfare game, with a slightly different storyline. I loved the story. Lets do it again.
If they make call of duty 6 it should come out at least by February because i cant wait until October. Also when the make cod6 it better not be about ailens or monsters because that why we buy halo for. Plus cod6 better be about and war like one america revoultion. the civil war or vetinam or the Koren war. Idk it just has to be about any war.

I liked Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare because I only like war games that are just like in Iraq as you get a taste of what it’s like out there. I didn’t buy Call of Duty 5 World at War because I’ve heard that there are some things in it that people don’t like.
Hopefully Call of Duty 5 will be back to present day, but not the future because it just doesn’t feel right otherwise.

I really hope the next setting is in a VIETNAM environment. IT will be one of the only games to have a vietnam based shooter. IT would be awesome
Vietnam, or a modern warfare sequel is their only option. If you think about it, they can’t take a chance a the Korean War because that war isn’t as well know as Vietnam. Not only that but the Korean war had pretty much the same weapons as WW2. In vietnam, they have so many opportunities. You can search the jungle, jump off a helicopter and fight from there, clear vietcong tunnels, and lots of other stuff. The only game that is based on the vietnam war that i can think of is “Battlefield: Vientam” (Which by the way rocked out with its cock out). There are so many weapons to choose from in Vietnam, and all of them will be new and automatic.
We Australians would love to play as an Australian Army soldier in Vietnam. The Australians style of warfare differed to that used by the United States Army. The Australians were masters of stealth, patrolling, tracking, searching & ambushing and hitting the enemy’s flanks.
Korea would be so cool since it’s the “Forgotten War”.

as a member in infinity ward group,we are working on cod modern warfare 2 project, ill say one thing about it, it will be one of the best games in the history. it is kinda similar to call of duty four but better graphics, more weapons, more charecters and more maps. trust me you will love this game, it comin out on october 2009. i can’t wait to play it to.
